On the final live Brent &
Woofy Radio show of 2008, June 16,
Charlotte Diamond was the guest. At the end of the show when
she learned Brent & Woofy were taking the summer off she said these
very profound words about the radio show and kids using their
imagination...
Charlotte Diamond: Summer time is a great
time for your imagination. I have to tell you Brent, and Woofy too
that radio really turns on our imagination.
Woofy: That’s right! Some kids don’t even know what I look
like.
Charlotte Diamond: That’s right but they are imagining what
you look like from the sound of your voice. Just like they’re
imagining me and they’re imagining Brent. When you do things like
“Looking for Dracula” and “I’m not afraid!” then the voice is so
powerful because it takes us into another world. And I sure hope
that your radio show will be back on, doing great things like you’ve
been doing all along!
